I had to take around 400 picture to get about 3 usable, when making this experimental setup. The image is made by holding the camera in a tripod and moving your own body around, so that the background becomes blured but you stay in focus. This is easier said then done, and takes readjusting and readjusting and more readjusting.

Technical details:

This picture was taken using a 12,8mp full frame Canon 5D at ISO 100 with a 50mm prime lens.
