A friend of mine is an equipment junkie, so it was just a loan Im afraid. Ill definetly get one though. Taking shots close to the surface worked quite well but required some postprocessing .. was very triggerhappy that day
Thanks for the tip! I had my 30D almost soaked yesturday in a rollercoaster ride that ended face down in water. The camera survived ... but just barely . Thanks for the link ... its now on my shopping list :-)
Thanks for the info. Which underwater enclosure were you using and any strobes involved?
I would be very nervous putting my gear underwater. Hopefully your gear will see another day.
Btw, I read about this electronic drying bag in a magazine recently: http://www.bheestie.com/ It sucks the moisture out of your device. Might come in handy ;-)
This was taken during an underwater session using a 550D (standard IS USM lens). My 30D is really beat up and almost got drenched yesturday (usually use it for shots with a high "accident probability"). Hoping to upgrade soon to save my equipments health :-) Thanks again
