This red building houses the Fog Horn at the Pt. Betsie Lighthouse on the shores of Lake Michigan. The sand dune in the distance is part of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. The Fog Horn was sounded during fogging conditions when ships couldn't see the light from the Lighthouse. The Pt Betsie Lighthouse is North of Frankfort, Michigan off Highway 22.
