It's really 1.4 not 1.0, not sure why the image details say 1.0, but yes shooting in low light at 1.4 is my reason for using a manual lens. Next on my list is a 35mm 1.8 which will actually shoot in auto! $200 though so I've got awhile.

Lovely and sharp around the eyes), at least you can get your aperture open wide! Nice capture...
