Beautiful. Reminds me of infared, obviously the colours are different but I think its because of how the trees stand out with the glowy background. Nicely done.

I guess it sort of worked sort of like a vignette. It was a -2 stop exposure filter in lightroom - so it underexposed the sky to bring out the blue - I did it twice at angles to frame the tree so I guess that's what caused the vignette.

Looks like the filter added a kind of vignette effect. Nonetheless, this is a very nice shot. Very stark but quite beautiful.

No, this is almost straight out of camera. In post I added a graduated filter to the sky and underexposed it about 2 stops to bring out the colour. (Actually, 2 graduated filters on angles to frame the tree.)

The blue colour is from the early morning light on the snow - it was still dawn so there was no yellow sunlight yet. Thank you for your comment - I'm glad you appreciated it.
